Sound Designer

Job Description:

Position: Sound Designer

Location: Orlando, FL-  fully onsite

Duration:  6 month contract to hire

Rate/Salary Range: $30-$45/hr

Position Overview:  

• Design and produce high-quality sound effects and audio assets tailored for virtual reality experiences.
• Collaborate with the creative and development teams to understand project requirements and deliver audio that enhances the immersive experience.
• Record, edit, and mix audio to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality within the VR environment.
• Implement sound assets into VR projects using industry-standard software and tools.
• Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of audio within the VR framework.

Must Haves:

• Proven experience as a Sound Designer or similar role, preferably within the VR or gaming industry.
• Proficiency in audio editing software such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or similar.
• Strong understanding of sound design principles and techniques, especially for immersive environments.
• Experience with field recording and Foley.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
